Day 2 - Beijing Tour 0ne

Well it has been a long but very interesting day. We visited Tianamen Square, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, and took in an accrobatics show. And of course the always entertaining meal times. It is late and we are tired so this will be quick...

I am down loading about 80 of the over 300 pictures we took to the Picasa site but I am too tired to caption them right now even though I really want too - maybe I'll work on it in the morning. We are off to bed - I am sure we will communicate more tomorrow.

Love from China

Oh, by the way, keep the comments comming - we love them.

  1. I know what it's like to post when you are so exhausted, so thank you!! :) As I reminisce about our trip last year at this time, I am loving following you both on your journey exactly one year later! The summer palace was my favorite. The beauty is just amazing and all the artwork...I can't imagine how long that must have taken! Lauren, Danny, and I said a prayer for you last night before going to bed. Only a couple more sleeps before Makaila is in your arms forever!!

  3. Awwww tooo tired probably means you haven't found any coffee yet?? I can't wait to see the pictures. What an amazing experience! (minus the missing coffee) It is a good thing they wear you out with sightseeing - just think of how much less time now before you have your Makaila. For us back home the anticipation is nearly unbearable, it's like waiting for Christmas. Instead of sneaking around looking for hidden presents, I run to the computer to see if you wrote and posted pictures. I Love You and Miss You and can't wait to see you!!

  5. OMG I cannot wait to see the photographs. Each time I open up your blog site I see her picture and my heart just smiles. I'm going crazy here and I have only been waiting a short time. You guys have been waiting so long I can't imagine how your heart must be bursting. We are 12 hours ahead of us and I find myself being so happy for you because your time is going by faster. It's already tomorrow morning there. Get up guys....find some coffee and make the day go by fast so we can see this child in your loving arms.
